The Amazing Reading Race is starting soon!!
 Grab your passport and a good book and GO!!
Where will you visit first? North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, or Antarctica?  Please remember to get a stamp in your passport you  must: Read the book, Pass the AR computer test, and write a summary.  Remember to read the correct genre!  For you summary, follow the plot structure we practiced.  Secret Prizes await you!       Happy Trails, Love Mrs. Underwood

We are reading Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor.

Stacey, Cassie, and their brothers purposely damage the school bus.  They are furious because of all the times the driver embarrassed them.  Were they justified? Is it ever justifiable to purposely ruin other people's property?
