We are reading Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor.

Stacey, Cassie, and their brothers purposely damage the school bus.  They are furious because of all the times the driver embarrassed them.  Were they justified? Is it ever justifiable to purposely ruin other people's property?

  4. Yes, I think it was very nessacery because the kids on the bus and also the bus driver was taughting the black kids while they were walking on the sidewalk to school and also if it was the white kids walking on the sidewalk and the black kids were making fun of them they would be MAD and want to do the same thing! :D
